Data
BTX is mined with dense matrix multiplication, the same math AI runs on. That gives it a value anchor no order book can fake: what one BTX is worth if its proof-of-work security were priced like Bitcoin’s. The figures below are network and model data from btxprice.com, refreshed about every 15 minutes. They are estimates, not desk prices, and your orders stay private.

Compute vs Bitcoin
Bitcoin is secured by SHA-256 hashing priced in electricity. BTX is secured by dense matrix multiplication — the operation AI hardware is built for. Different units, so the honest comparison is in dollars of security, not raw rates.
BTX carries 2.59% of Bitcoin's security-equivalent compute on 0.647% of its market value.
BTX work is the tensor math AI runs on — its scarcity is priced in AI-era compute, not joules alone.
What each number means
- Security-parity value
- — what one BTX is worth if its proof-of-work security were priced at the same rate as Bitcoin’s — Bitcoin’s price times BTX’s share of Bitcoin’s security (2.59%). It is a valuation benchmark, not the cost to mine a coin — that is a separate, much smaller number.
- Network compute
- — BTX’s proof-of-work is dense matrix multiplication (the operation AI hardware is built for), measured in millions of nonces per second. Bitcoin’s SHA-256 hashes and BTX’s MatMul nonces are different units, so we compare security value in dollars, never raw rates.
- Security share
- — BTX’s security-equivalent compute as a percentage of Bitcoin’s total. This is what drives the security-parity value.
